How would you like to write a guest post for the Idea Factory?

Here’s the deal: I’m on deadline right now and I have a busy spring shaping up. I don’t want to let the Idea Factory falter but I’d love some help keeping the hopper fed. That’s where you come in!

What I’m looking for: writing prompts that work well across forms and genres, to accommodate the diverse talents of our writers. To see what I mean, check out our previous Idea Factory Writing Prompts.

What you don’t need to do: don’t worry about images, formatting, etc. I’ll take care of that.

What to do if you’re interested:

  1. Use the contact form to get in touch with me and pitch me on your idea.
  2. Once you’ve got the green light, write up your writing prompt and send it to me.
  3. Keep the prompt PG-13, please. We’ve got some younger writers here–and my mom reads this, too!
  4. Be sure to include a bio, under 200 words, that links to your website, blog, Twitter account, etc, as well as any books or projects you’re promoting.

General questions? Ask them here in the comments.

I can’t figure out why I didn’t open up the Idea Factory for guest posts earlier! I’d really appreciate your help and I can’t wait to see what you come up with.
